The Apprentice Award for Overall Excellence is about promoting outstanding training and personal achievement of apprentices working in any industry and to raise awareness of career opportunities.
It is about recognising apprentices who consistently produce excellent results both in practice and theory assignments.
What are the Judges looking for?
The Judges will be looking at things such as, quality of work, long term industry potential, initiative, overall training performance and X-factor. As well as appropriate examples of how the nominee is embracing our regional values
in their work place and training.
With your entry, you will need to include a short statement from the apprentice detailing how the apprenticeship has helped his / her career.
The apprentice must be:
- Completing an apprenticeship and be completing a National Certificate in their chosen field.
- Working in the industry at the time of nomination.
- Living and working in Central Otago district.
