Maniototo Promotions is a volunteer group focusing on promoting the Maniototo brand. Where else in the world can you step off your bike for a curl on indoor ice, followed by an evening of golf, fishing or a 4WD journey? Visit idyllic communities which once overflowed with railway workers, gold miners, horses and carriages and musterers. Take an Art Deco walk through Ranfurly, followed by viewing a digital journey in Central Otago's largest remaining railway station. A tour of Hayes Engineering Works in Oturehua is a must.
