Water Activities
Water is the source of life and leisure time fun in Central Otago. The rivers, lakes, dams and rivers are ideal for a wide range of water-fueled activities. Popular summer aquatic activities include boating, yachting, jet-skiing and swimming on Lake Dunstan.  It’s also a great spot for fishing as is the Clutha River and several of the remote high country dams.   You can also take  a boat cruise   and appreciate from a tranquil water setting the surrounding landscape.  Water based fun is not restricted to the lazy days of summer with winter  frozen dams providing the perfect playing fields for  ice sports such as skating and curling.
