Magnificent country gardens flourish despite the harsh environment and range from rambling cottage, to clipped and formal grandeur. There are also specialist nurseries, gardens and parks showcasing to maximum effect aromatic herbs, native species and specimen trees. Many of the properties have picnic facilities or Devonshire teas and some also offer accommodation and other activities by arrangement.
